f.a.k.k. 2

Heavy Metal:
F.A.K.K. 2 breathes much-needed life into the third-person action
game. And thank goodness, as this genre has been cluttered with way
too many uninspired Tomb Raider lookalikes of late. Based on the
animated movie of the same name, F.A.K.K. 2 presents a balanced
blend of action, exploration and puzzle solving wrapped in
sumptuous, tripped-out visuals that keep you guessing.
Like the F.A.K.K. 2 animated movie, the game stars a powerful and
voluptuous female warrior who's based on and voiced by B-movie queen
(and Playboy TV's Sex Court judge) Julie Strain. The art
direction of the game and the movie are derived from the work of
Julie's husband, Kevin Eastman, best known as one of the creators of
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Set 30 years after the events of the movie, F.A.K.K. 2 the game
puts Julie on a mission to save Eden, her idyllic home planet where
the water gives eternal life and good health. Eden is in danger of
being obliterated by a gargantuan spaceship that literally consumes
whole worlds. This "God-Ship" is captained by Gith, a cult leader
who aspires to become a god.
You control Julie through 25 levels set in five unique
environments of Eden: the village where Julie and her people live;
the village's sewage system; cliffs and canyons; swamps and rivers;
and an enormous cemetery -- a ghost-filled city of the dead for the
planet's original inhabitants. All of these levels feature
beautiful, realistic-looking environments with plenty of surreal
touches, some of which are downright Freudian. In one segment,
you'll run Julie along walkways that look like an extended series of
tongues.

But Does It Get the Chicks? |
Julie Strain in F.A.K.K. 2 is
more than just a sexy fantasy figure; she's also one
tough lady who slices, dices and, ahem, juliennes her
enemies to shreds. What more could you
want?
